Refund Policy

You can request a full refund of the fees you paid within 7 days of enrollment. After 7 days from enrollment, fees are non-refundable. This page explains how to request a refund, how long it takes, and how we handle EMI payments, scholarships and our program guarantees. This Refund Policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

The short version

1. The 7-day refund window

When you enroll in any Course Unbox program, you have 7 days from the date of enrollment to request a full refund of the fees you have paid. We will refund the full amount you paid, subject only to any third-party charges described in section 4.

After 7 days from the date of enrollment, fees are non-refundable, whether or not you have started or attended classes.

The date of enrollment is the date we confirm your admission and you complete the required payment or first EMI installment. The 7 days run from that date, not from your batch start date.

2. How to request a refund

Send your request within the 7-day window by email:

Include your full name, registered email and phone number, the program you enrolled in, your enrollment or payment date, and the payment reference. We will acknowledge your request and, once we confirm it falls within the 7-day window, process it.

A request is considered made on the date and time we receive your written email within the window. To avoid any dispute about timing, please email rather than only calling or messaging.

3. How long refunds take

Once approved, we process refunds to your original payment method within 7 to 10 business days. Depending on your bank, card issuer or UPI provider, it may take a few additional days to appear in your account after we process it. We will confirm by email when the refund has been processed.

4. EMI, financing and third-party charges

If you paid through EMI or a financing provider, your refund is handled together with that provider, and their processing timelines and any charges apply. We refund what we received from you; charges that the financing provider or payment gateway levies on the transaction may be deducted from the refund. The provider that handled your payment is identified on your payment receipt.

If you cancel within the 7-day window but an EMI schedule has already started, we will coordinate with the provider to stop future installments and refund what is due to you.

Taxes: any taxes charged on your fees are refunded or adjusted in line with the tax rules applicable at the time of the refund.

5. Scholarships and discounted enrollments

If you enrolled at a scholarship or discounted rate, a refund within the 7-day window returns the amount you actually paid, not the full list price. Scholarships and discounts themselves are not refundable or transferable as cash.

6. Program guarantees and refunds

Our placement assistance is a guarantee of support, not a guarantee of a specific job, so it does not create a separate refund entitlement beyond this policy. See the Terms of Service for what placement assistance covers.

For the 10-month program, which includes a guaranteed paid internship, the internship guarantee has its own conditions and remedy, set out in section 7 of the Terms of Service. That remedy, and not this 7-day window, governs internship-guarantee claims, which are different from a fee refund.

7. Non-refundable situations

Outside the 7-day window, fees are non-refundable. In addition, we may decline a refund where a learner has breached the code of conduct in our Terms of Service, for example by sharing paid course access or redistributing materials.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy as our services or the law change. The “Last updated” date reflects the current version. The version of this policy in effect on your enrollment date applies to your enrollment.

9. Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under Indian consumer law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. If you believe a refund has been wrongly declined, contact us first at the details below so we can resolve it. You retain your rights to consumer redressal if it remains unresolved.
