How to choose platforms for your business
Choose by audience and goal, not by hype. Ask: where does my target audience actually spend time, what are my goals (awareness, community, leads, sales), what content can I realistically create, and what does my niche suit? Then pick one or two platforms to do well rather than spreading thin across all of them.
- Audience first: be where your customers already are.
- Goal-fit: match platform strengths to your objective.
- Capacity-realistic: choose what you can sustain (video, writing, etc).
- Focus: one or two done well beats six done badly.
